Wyatt is no longer physically with me, but he is the reason why I started helping other dogs.

Wyatt was a dog Shadow's Fund in Lompoc shared on their Facebook. He was at Carson Shelter and out of time, and something about him grabbed my heart. I messaged Shadow's Fund and the founder, Jill, was online (I think it was around 1am). I told her I wanted to give Wyatt a home, and she went to work right away, because he was scheduled to be euthanized and she said time was of the essence because if they didn't see her message, he could be accidentally euthanized. Of course it is a much longer story, but they had a volunteer go to the shelter the next morning and literally wait and bug everyone to be sure he was not. About a week or so later, she was driving him up to me. He was very shut down when I got him - I didnt even think he barked! And then ...
